I have had a DX14 before and found this chair to ve extremely reliable. My wife runs a business out of our gone and one of her client's saw the chair and offered to buy it. A few days later qe had it's replacement.
Did the wheelchair is great. I noticed that it is a little smaller seat wise when setting than the 06. Also the front wheels are a little smaller so I had to modify my ramps getting in and out of the house. The front wheels on the 06 were a little larger and easier to get over the threshold so I modified my ramps in order for the 07 to get over the thresholds otherwise I’m doing great.

This is a great chair. Went through airport security without any issues. It even rolls down the aisle of wider airplanes. My wife was able to transfer at the door to her seat for our flight. We did however name the chair Christine ... It tends to move by itself when stopped and the power is on. Likes to make a left turn :)

i love the chair but the start button is getting difficult to turn it on and off and the cushion is coming off the front
Rubicon did an excellent job on their DX14 Electric Wheelchair. I purchased mine about 2 weeks ago and am very happy with it. I weigh 190 pounds and mounted an Oxygen tank and a Inogen concentrator on the back. Even with the extra weight, outdoors on all-terrain it preforms as advertised or better. My porch ramp is 14% and it handles that with ease. I’ve seen reviews on jerky joystick control. This is true indoors. I was disappointed at first, but learned the wide front casters needed for all- terrain, have extra resistance when maneuvering small tight spaces in doors, expressly on heavy carpet There is a learning curve, but it gets better with practice. I am sure this would be the same for any wheelchair capable of all-terrain. All in all, Rubicon did a very good job on making an electric wheel chair that can be used both indoors and out.
The Joystick mounts on either armrest. The only suggestion I have for Rubicon, is to supply an extra T-bar used to mount the joystick. It would be nice for the unused armrest mount for a cup and phone holder.
Very easy to assemble. We have not used it yet.
So far I am very happy with my purchase. The shipping time was fast and the unboxing and set up took about 30 minutes. The chair is sturdy and comfortable. The only negative I have found is that the joystick is very sensitive and it’s taking time to get used to it. I would recommend this brand to anyone who is disabled like myself.
